Import to Ukraine

  For shipments with a value (excluding delivery costs) that does not exceed the equivalent of 150 euros – customs payments are not charged.

  If the value of the goods in the shipment exceeds the equivalent of EUR 150, a 10% import duty of the amount that exceeds 150 euros and 20% VAT of the amount that exceeds 150 euros with the addition of the 10% duty will be charged. When importing, a customs declaration form M-16 is issued. Customs brokerage services are also charged additionally.

For example

Cost of goods = 200 €

Import duty = (200 € – 150 €) x 10% = 5 € + M-16 form (costs 200 UAH)

VAT = (200 € – 150 € + 5 € (duty)) x 20% = 11 €

Customs payments will be: 5 € duty + 11 € VAT  = 16 €

Export from Ukraine

When shipping abroad in accordance with the customs legislation in the recipient country, customs fees may be charged, which will have to be paid to the Recipient. If necessary, an email with a request to pay customs fees can be sent to the Recipient.

Please, note that customs fees are charged on all product categories, including gifts or warranty returns.

The duty-free threshold in most European countries is 0 EUR, which means that all international express shipments are subject to customs clearance and payment of duties by the recipient.

For export shipments worth more than EUR 10,000, filling out a customs declaration is mandatory. More details are provided in the Accompanying documents section. Export customs clearance takes place either in the shipment’s destination country or transit country.

Accompanying documents

Customs services may request additional information about the content and value of the goods in the parcel from the Sender or Recipient.

In the event that the parcel’s contents are interpreted as a commercial batch at the customs, duties will be imposed over the parcel according to the rules of charging customs duties on commercial goods, or the parcel will be returned to the Sender.

The delivery service in the country of destination contacts the Recipient by email.

If the Recipient has not responded to the message and/or the delivery has not made due to incorrect data of the Recipient, the parcel can be returned to the Recipient in Ukraine, or it is also possible to clarify the details and send it for redelivery.
